Volleyball Recap: Plainfield East Comes Up Short

Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Belleville West Maroons.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Belleville West, they moved to 10-13 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Plainfield East will take on Plainfield South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belleville West, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Quincy on the 4th.
