Volleyball Recap: Valhalla Comes Up Short

Valhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders.

Valhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Mater Dei Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Valhalla has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Scripps Ranch on the 25th. As for Mater Dei Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Fallbrook on the 25th.
