Football Recap: Gulisa Nunez Leads Clark's Defense on Monday

Clark played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 32-7 to the Arbor View Aggies. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

When it comes to explaining why Clark lost, don't look at Ava Reed. Despite the final result, she rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries.

Even if they lost, Clark's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Gulisa Nunez with two.

Priscilla Garcia went supernova for Arbor View, throwing for 279 yards and four touchdowns.

This is the second loss in a row for Clark and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Arbor View, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Clark is taking a road trip to challenge Spring Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arbor View, they will welcome Chaparral at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaparral will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Arbor View surely won't give up without a fight.
