Spanish Springs extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from AJ Robinson. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Elko Indians on Saturday with plenty of help from Robinson, who had six aces, five digs, and one block. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Spanish Springs' victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Elko, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Spanish Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Fernley on the 23rd. After both having extra time off, Elko and South Tahoe will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
