Adams Central got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They claimed a resounding 66-38 win over the Gibbon Buffaloes. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won six in a row.

Kassandra Trevino and Brooke Sell certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Trevino went 7-for-17 to rack up 20 points and seven boards, while Sell dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Those 20 points gave Trevino a new career-high.

Adams Central's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Gibbon, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Adams Central nor Gibbon have any future games scheduled.
