Basketball Recap: Logos Skates Past Salmon with Ease

Logos's tournament run continued when they took on Salmon on Friday. The Logos Knights claimed a resounding 70-36 win over the Salmon Savages. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Seamus Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 for 21 on his way to 28 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Logos' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucius Comis, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Logos was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Salmon only posted three assists.

Salmon's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyatt Pilkerton, who posted 12 points.

Logos is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Salmon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Logos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-54 loss against Lapwai on the 4th. As for Salmon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-36 victory against St. John Bosco Academy on the 4th.
