There's no place like home for Heritage Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Wood Memorial Trojans on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-13.

Mia Becher paced Heritage Hills' offense, picking up 21 kills. Becher got some help from Kenley Bell and her 13 assists. Bell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Heritage Hills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Wood Memorial, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

Heritage Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Vincennes Lincoln on the 4th. As for Wood Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Evansville Christian on the 4th.
