Basketball Recap: Durham Beats Lassen for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Durham extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Brady Doyle. The Durham Trojans enjoyed a cozy 61-43 win over the Lassen Grizzlies on Thursday thanks in part to Doyle, who went 8 for 13 en route to 18 points and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high.

Lassen's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peace Folorunso, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Deforest, who scored ten points and seven boards.

Durham is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Lassen, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Durham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-53 loss against Las Plumas on the 10th. Lassen has also already played their next contest, a 40-34 defeat against Yreka on the 10th.
