Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Life Christian Academy strolled past Klahowya with points to spare, taking the game 46-31. The victory was familiar territory for Life Christian Academy, who have now won six games in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Klahowya lost, don't look at Shyanne Kilmer. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds. Kilmer is becoming a predictor of Klahowya's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 2-1 (and 5-13 when she doesn't). McKenna Sullivan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Life Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-10. As for Klahowya, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Coming up, Life Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Bellevue Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellevue Christian will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Life Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Klahowya does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
