Volleyball Recap: Shadyside Falls Despite Big Games from Molly Boltz and Ava Mercer + How To Watch

Shadyside lost against Monroe Central back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminoles.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 22-25, 25-15.

Shadyside's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Mercer and Molly Boltz. Mercer had 20 digs, while Boltz had 12 digs.

Shadyside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Monroe Central, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

Shadyside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe Central, they will head out to square off against Shenandoah at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
