Softball Recap: Russia Comes Up Short

Russia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marion Local Flyers.

Russia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Marion Local, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Russia will head out to square off against Houston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marion Local, they will venture away from home to challenge Minster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
