Recap: Capital HomeSchool vs. Columbus HomeSchool Hawks
Capital HomeSchool scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They snuck past Columbus HomeSchool with a 78-74 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Columbus HomeSchool lost, one person who can't be blamed is David Cline. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 32 points and 18 rebounds. Cline is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nat Farnsley, who scored 17 points.
The victory got Capital HomeSchool back to even at 6-6. As for Columbus HomeSchool, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capital HomeSchool will take on Noble-Whitley Warriors at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday. As for Columbus HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Anderson HomeSchool at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday. Anderson HomeSchool is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
