Soccer Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside was the 4-2 winner over Burbank when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Southside Cardinals fell just short of the Burbank Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Southside and nudges their season record down to 1-2-2. As for Burbank, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Southside will welcome John F. Kennedy at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday. Southside is facing John F. Kennedy at the right time seeing as John F. Kennedy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Burbank, they will be taking part in a tournament against Warren at 1:10 p.m. on Saturday.
