Bolivar had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Branson Pirates a 3-0 shutout. Considering Bolivar have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bolivar's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Branson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
