Northern Lehigh is 0-9 against Bangor since April of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Slaters at 4:15 p.m. Northern Lehigh will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Northern Lehigh's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Moravian Academy.
Parker Schaffer was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other pitching news, Chris Vargas looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
Back at the plate, Brayden Buskirk was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Braedon Dougherty, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Northern Lehigh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, while it was Bangor who put the first runs on the board last Friday, it was Salisbury Township who put up more. The Slaters took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Slaters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nolan Koza made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. That run marked the first that he scored this season. Alex Farensbach was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Northern Lehigh's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Bangor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
