Wolcott College Prep is 3-0 against Roycemore since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Wolcott College Prep Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Roycemore Griffins at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wolcott College Prep has three straight wins, Roycemore has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

While Wolcott College Prep didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down British International School of Chicago 48-32 on Friday. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while British International School of Chicago are ranked 495th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wolcott College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeremiah Summers, who posted 19 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paul Thompson, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Roycemore scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Cruz, falling 55-35.

Wolcott College Prep's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Roycemore, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Wolcott College Prep against Roycemore in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as the team secured a 91-21 win. In that contest, Wolcott College Prep amassed a halftime lead of 50-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
