Basketball Game Preview: Chesapeake Cougars vs. Northeast Eagles

Chesapeake hasn't had much luck against Northeast recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to take on one another. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chesapeake heads in on the heels of a playoff contest last Friday. They had to suffer through an 88-44 loss at the hands of Mt. Hebron. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 11 in a row.

Meanwhile, Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Howard 78-49.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.

Chesapeake took a serious blow against Northeast in their previous meeting back in February, falling 63-34. Can Chesapeake avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
