Gavin Cappiello turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Seven Rivers Christian back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Cappiello also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Lakeside Christian is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Cappiello and Lakeside Christian will venture away from home to square off against Indian Rocks Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
