Baseball Recap: Ridgewood Takes a Loss

Ridgewood was the 1-0 winner over West Chicago when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday.

Ridgewood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Bruno, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Kyle Szewczyk was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for West Chicago, their record is now 5-14.

Coming up, Ridgewood will be playing in front of their home fans against West Aurora at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Chicago, they will head out on the road to take on Streamwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
