Basketball Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

After soaring to 66 points the game before, St. Anthony was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They were outmatched by the Greendale Panthers and fell 97-18. While losing is never fun, the Roman Legion can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Panthers are ranked 136th).

When it comes to explaining why St. Anthony lost, don't look at Dael Colchado. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points.

St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Greendale, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

St. Anthony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Tenor on the 28th. As for Greendale, they are taking a road trip to take on Wisconsin Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wisconsin Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
