Football Recap: Charles O. Dickerson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Groton last Friday, Charles O. Dickerson came back down to earth. The Blue Raiders took a 31-14 bruising from the Oneonta Yellowjackets on Friday. The contest marked the Blue Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Charles O. Dickerson's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Oneonta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Charles O. Dickerson will be playing at home against Spencer-Van Etten/Candor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Raiders will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Oneonta, they are taking a road trip to take on Chenango Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
