Lakota waltzed into their match on Monday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Gibsonburg Golden Bears. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Golden Bears back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The victory didn't come easy: Gibsonburg scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Queen Beard paced Lakota's offense, picking up 30 kills. Beard got some help from Sophia Bomer and her 43 assists. Finally, Beard was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Lakota's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Gibsonburg, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.

Lakota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Danbury on the 7th. As for Gibsonburg, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against New Riegel on the 7th.
