            Baseball Recap: Wauconda Bulldogs vs. Lakes Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Wauconda won the last time they faced Lakes and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs walked away with  a   6-1  win over the Eagles. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.
 Patrick Shannon tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   seven  hits. Wauconda is 2-1 when  Shannon allows one or  fewer  earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.

The  victory  got Wauconda back to even at 5-5. As for Lakes,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-4.
