Volleyball Recap: Torrance Comes Up Short

Torrance came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Santa Monica Vikings, falling 3-0. Tartars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Vikings since Friday.

Torrance's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Santa Monica, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Torrance will head out to face off against South at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Santa Monica, they will venture away from home to challenge West at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
