Baseball Recap: McDowell Comes Up Short

McDowell lost against Asheville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans fell 10-5 to the Cougars. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McDowell saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keller Bradley, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another was Jacob Davis, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

McDowell now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Asheville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

While McDowell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
