Preview: Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks vs. James River HomeSchool Eagles
The Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the James River HomeSchool Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Fairfax HomeSchool earned a 53-42 win over Northern Virginia HomeSchool.
Meanwhile, James River HomeSchool can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They blew past Fredericksburg V 69-35 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-15.
James River HomeSchool got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was NiMon Campbell out in front who scored 14 points along with two steals. Matthew Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Fairfax HomeSchool pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for James River HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Fairfax HomeSchool was able to grind out a solid win over James River HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 58-51. Will Fairfax HomeSchool repeat their success, or does James River HomeSchool have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
