Softball Recap: Central's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

If Central was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Florence on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Muscle Shoals Trojans on Friday, falling 10-2. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isla Hardy, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The defeat snapped Central's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-6 record. As for Muscle Shoals, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Coincidentally, Central and Muscle Shoals will both be playing Wilson the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will host them on Saturday.
