Soccer Recap: Gainesville Finishes Even with Paris

For the first time since back in January, Gainesville was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Paris Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Jasmyn Jackson and Alexis Guerrero scored both of Gainesville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Gainesville's draw gives them a new season record of 10-7-3. As for Paris, they moved theirs to 13-4-2.

When Gainesville and Paris next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Gainesville will try to stop Sunnyvale's six-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gainesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season. Similarly, Paris will challenge Lindale and their four-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st.
