Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Westside

Westside had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Paragould Rams with a sharp 3-0 win. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While Westside might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Paragould scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.

Vada Watkins was nothing short of spectacular: she had 21 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last ten matches.

Westside's win bumped their record up to 11-1-2. As for Paragould, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Westside will head out on the road to take on Brookland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paragould, they will be playing at home against West Memphis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
