Baseball Recap: Harmony Area Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Harmony Area's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Purchase Line Red Dragons on Monday. The Owls were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Red Dragons' pitchers proved too tough.

Harmony Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Pearce, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Harmony Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Purchase Line, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Harmony Area beat the Red Dragons by a score of 9-4 later that day.
