Northeast's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Samuel Fels Panthers. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Northeast's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Eliezer Garcia-Guzman, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Garcia-Guzman has posted since back in April of 2024. Calvin Castro also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
