Northeast's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Samuel Fels Panthers. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Northeast's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Eliezer Garcia-Guzman, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Garcia-Guzman has posted since back in April of 2024. Calvin Castro also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Northeast was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Samuel Fels only posted a batting average of .138.

Northeast's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Samuel Fels, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
