Football Recap: Jackson-Olin Takes a Loss

Jackson-Olin lost against Carver Birmingham back in September of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs took a hard 36-20 fall against the Rams. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Jackson-Olin lost, don't look at Javion Jones. Despite the final result, he picked up 91 receiving yards and one score. Jones showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 65 yards.

Jackson-Olin now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carver Birmingham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson-Olin will take on Parker at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Carver Birmingham, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wenonah at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
