Soccer Recap: Geneva Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Metea Valley, Geneva was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Larkin Royals a 7-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Geneva needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The win got Geneva back to even at 2-2-1. As for Larkin, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Glenbard North at 6:30 p.m. on April 8. The game will give Geneva their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Larkin, they will challenge Prairie Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
