Victory Christian Academy had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Marquette Catholic on Thursday. The Lions blew past the Blazers 14-4. The Lions' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Addison Gonzales was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Miranda Norwalk was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Victory Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Morgan Township at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marquette Catholic, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Hammond Academy of Science & Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
