It was a good run, but Bartlett Yancey unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the McMichael Phoenix, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

Bartlett Yancey was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-22.

Allyson Pruitt paced Bartlett Yancey's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pruitt got some help from Lyndsey Smithers and her 13 assists. Kara Badstein controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bartlett Yancey's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for McMichael, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10.

As of now, neither Bartlett Yancey nor the Phoenix have any future games scheduled.
