Volleyball Recap: Pima Takes a Loss

Pima suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Friday. They came up short against the Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans, falling 3-0. The Roughriders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-11.

This is the second loss in a row for Pima and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Coincidentally, Pima and Gilbert Classical Academy will both be playing Miami the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Vandals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Roughriders will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
