Mendota extended their postseason success on Saturday against Schaumburg Christian. They blew past the Conquerors 4-0. Considering Mendota have won 20 matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Johan Cortez and Isaac Diaz scored all four of Mendota's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 75 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Mendota and bumps their season record up to 21-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Schaumburg Christian, they dropped their record down to 12-6-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Mendota wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Genoa-Kingston on the 29th. Schaumburg Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
