Recap: Hillsboro Eagles vs. Glen Rose Tigers
The Hillsboro Eagles fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They had to suffer through a rough 39-8 loss at the hands of Glen Rose. Hillsboro has struggled against Glen Rose recently, as their matchup on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Hillsboro still got an impressive performance from Quinton Latimore, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Leading Glen Rose to victory were Josiah Groeneweg and Canyon Evans. Groeneweg picked up 116 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Evans threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns.
Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Glen Rose, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-4.
Hillsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Glen Rose is also done with their season.
