Damien faced Hawaii Baptist Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Monarchs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Eagles. For the Monarchs, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
The win made it two in a row for Damien and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Hawaii Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
