Volleyball Recap: Concord Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Concord Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to GRACE Christian on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Concord Academy has suffered since September 11th.

While GRACE Christian got the win, Concord Academy sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 29-27, 27-25.

Caralyn Woodworth had a dynamite game For GRACE Christian., getting 16 digs and two aces. Woodworth has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Concord Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for GRACE Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-12.

Concord Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for GRACE Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Wake Christian Academy on the 18th.
