Football Recap: Sheboygan Area Lutheran/Kohler/Sheboygan County Christian Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Sheboygan Area Lutheran/Kohler/Sheboygan County Christian kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 30-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen. The loss continues a trend for Sheboygan Area Lutheran/Kohler/Sheboygan County Christian in their meetings with Oostburg: they've now lost six in a row.

Charles Depagter was a one-man wrecking crew For Oostburg. as he rushed for 137 yards and three scores. Depagter also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass. Another player making a difference was Aj Dolfin, who picked up 135 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheboygan Area Lutheran/Kohler/Sheboygan County Christian will head out to square off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oostburg, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Lomira at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
