Thorsby came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Vincent Yellow Jackets by a score of 9-6. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Kaden Collins made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

In other batting news, Haston Hogge was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Max Burnett was another key player, earning two RBI and one run.

Thorsby's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Vincent, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thorsby will host Verbena at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Vincent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Altamont at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellow Jackets are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
