Volleyball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

Dora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Gainesville Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Dora started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-22.

Dora's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Gainesville, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 15-7-2.

Dora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Seymour on the 10th. As for Gainesville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Koshkonong on the 11th.
