Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Legacy Charter and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Faith Christian Lions received a blow as they fell 63-46 to the Legacy Charter Eagles. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

It was another big night for Khori Polarchy, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards for Legacy Charter. Polarchy's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Miller, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points.

Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Legacy Charter, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Faith Christian has already played their next game, a 74-56 victory against Orangewood Christian on the 17th. Legacy Charter will take on South Lake in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Lake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
