Softball Recap: First Flight Comes Up Short

First Flight has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the Camden County Bruins. The Nighthawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bruins from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

First Flight has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. The victory (which was Camden County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Camden County has already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Perquimans on the 26th. Hopefully First Flight payed attention to Camden County's match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Camden County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
