Volleyball Recap: Delavan Panthers vs. ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars
It was a proper cat-fight when Delavan duked it out withROWVA/Williamsfield on Saturday. The Delavan Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Delavan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.
Delavan's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delavan is on the road again on Tuesday to play El Paso-Gridley at 5:30 p.m. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, they will face off against Bureau Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
