Football Game Preview: Apache Warriors vs. Cordell Blue Devils

The Apache Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Cordell Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Apache comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Apache took a blow against Mooreland, falling 34-7.

Meanwhile, Cordell fell victim to Carnegie and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Cordell's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Apache, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything came up roses for Apache against Cordell when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 51-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
