Soccer Recap: Paola Comes Up Short

If Paola was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Fort Scott on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Bonner Springs Braves on Monday, falling 8-0. Paola have struggled against Bonner Springs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Paola's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bonner Springs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2-2.

Looking ahead, Paola is taking a road trip to challenge Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bonner Springs, they will square off against Eudora on Thursday.
