After a string of 12 wins, Pace's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the Gulf Breeze Dolphins, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered since August 19th.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-13.

Marley Manning paced Pace's offense, picking up nine kills. Manning got some help from Layla Claudio and her nine assists. Manning was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bella Ciolino had an outrageously good game for Gulf Breeze as she had 22 digs and one assist.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Gulf Breeze, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

Pace has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Navarre on the 13th. As for Gulf Breeze, they will host Tate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
