Basketball Recap: Troy Find Success

Troy's game back in December of 2024 was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Genesee Bulldogs by a score of 46-35. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Noah Bollman and Joshua Ketcheson certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Bollman posted 13 points, while Ketcheson put up eight points and five rebounds. That's the most points Ketcheson has posted since back in December of 2023.

Troy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Genesee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy will square off against Clearwater Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Genesee, they will venture away from home to challenge Nezperce at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
